First Insights

Hello world!
And now, to begin.
I am sitting on my loveseat in my most favorite room - The Den. I have made this my special room because it is a bit of everything and yet, nothing like a conventional room.
It is an odd shaped area, just below the kitchen, at the end of the entranceway, where I can feel secluded yet, can catch tiny glimpses of our other rooms.
I can see the entrance to the kitchen, and through that I see a slice of the black marble dining room table. I can see the living room looking back at me as I move my eyes to the two elongated waved mirrors on the front wall of the house.
I have full view of the basement door where activity is always brewing. Most importantly, I feel like I am one with nature in my den because half of the main wall is composed of the sliding glass doors to my spacious backyard and on the other side of the wall is a large, almost floor to ceiling window, also in view of the yard.
Late at night, I sit in my sanctuary and it is silent, except for the distant noise of the television that is being viewed by my boyfriend.
On occasion, I turn on the radio to hear beautiful country lyrics and I sing along. Music changes the atmosphere. When I am in the mood to listen, it gives me such pleasure. If I could change our world, one of the things I would do would be to replace four of every five televisions with radios.
Radio enhances what we do. Television replaces what we do.
Well, that is enough writing for tonight. Until tomorrow, remember, we are where we ought to be. So, let's stop worrying about the future and focus more on enjoying the present.
